Ampang Forest
Ampang Impounding Forest is a mature secondary forest at the eastern edge of Kuala Lumpur, it is connected to the greater Titiwangsa Range, the largest contiguous forest in Peninsula Malaysia. As such there is a great number of rare reptiles and mammals that we could encounter on this nightwalk.
The route we'd be taking will bring us over a small hill (Bukit Kembara), circuit around a reservoir and returning by climbing over the same hill again. This hill is only 200 meters in elevation, but the trail can be quite steep at certain points. It may be slippery too on rainy nights.
Target Species: Wagler's Pit Viper, Great Anglehead Lizard, Malayan Horned Frog, Sunda Slow Loris, Sunda Colugo, Small-toothed Palm Civets.

Guiding Fee: 1-3 persons: RM 450 per group
4-6 persons: RM 550 per group
(Pick-up / Drop-off service is available for RM50 per way, i.e. RM100 for a return trip)
What to Bring: Headlamp, Sportswear, Hiking Shoes, Camera (optional), Raincoat / Umbrellla
Includes: Headlamps / Flashlight (if you don't have your own)
